Today, I was reminded again that prosperity starts with mind set, not financial planning or budget strategy.

It starts from practice of gratitude.

For a very long time, I thought that gratitude is a blessing, that few of us are born with.
Later, I come to conclusion that it’s just a skill that always could be learned and practiced. So I begun by having a one minute gratitude break 3 times a day .
I was grateful for my breath, my health, my US citizenship etc..
I also developed a practice where in any challenging situation, I would first find 5 to 10 things I am grateful for.
This muscel became so strong, that a few months ago, I found myself in the middle of nowhere, in the dark, with two small children, a broken car and physicaly being sick. Yet, I automatically found 15 things I am grateful for, got myself back in the body, jump started my car and miraculously my car start working…

Today was a very special day.
Today I woke up with sence of unconditional love and state of constant gratitude. I was grateful for small things that last year was only a dream: being 10 minutes late at work and laughing about it with my manager, being caught up with work, started exercise during lunch for the first time in a long time, being present with kids and being able to show my daughter that any challenges could be easily overcome by dicipline and persistence.
Most importantly, I was deeply grateful for feeling peace and unconditional love for self, others and universe!

Yes, to me, being in constant state of gratitude is a true blessing and this is how true prosperity shows up in my life!
